I've always loved computers and business. I started my first business at 19 with my best mate. We did things with open source technology for customers. Over time I gravitated to the people side and gave technical recruiting a go. After 5 years learning from the best in recruiting, I started Lookahead.
Lookahead is a technical recruiting firm with recruiters who are actually technical. We've helped the who's who of Australian companies hire software engineers.
I'm big on community. Supporting dozens of meetups, conferences and other groups. Was on the organising committee of ReactConfAU and RubyConfAU.
Angel investing became a thing. Friends started companies and I've been lucky to invest in them. That's grown into quite a hobby as I love having a court-side seat watching great companies grow.
